Melanie Daniels and The Sous Chefs, was an instant hit at our event; not only did her and her band perform but she handled the catering too! Amazing food, music, and company; everyone had a blast from beginning to end. It was such a joy working with her. If anyone needs good music and good food I definitely recommend reaching out.

I've been hiring Melanie to perform live music at my bar, and she's been killing it! What an amazing voice! She has an extensive variety of both originals and covers, and always makes great song selections depending on the vibes of the crowd. She sings with such soul and emotion, and that can be hard to find with other artists. She's very professional to work with, and my customers love her! She always draws in customers that come to watch her perform, which is 100% what we're looking for. She's an amazing artist and performer on the cusp of greatness! We hired Melanie for an engagement party and she was fantastic! Melanie had her own music as well as cover songs. She connected with the audience and shifted gears to engage the party guests. We did have her do some catering as well that was outstanding since she is a private chef as well. I have used her to do meal prep for my family several times. 10 out of 10!!! Would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Melanie was the best singer there is! I had her at my rehearsal dinner, and she also sang during my cocktail hour at my wedding. She truly is the best!

Her voice is something so special, and she is definitely someone you want for any special event, especially your wedding day. She is incredibly professional, handles setup and cleanup, and was always prompt. Coordination with her was so easy, and she made sure to include any special songs I requested and match the style I wanted.

Melanie is a very unique and enjoyable creative force I've had the pleasure of working with several times at gigs taking place at SoCal's prominent venues (Dragonfly, Viper Room, Molly Malone's, among other places). There's no denying her talent: she sings beautifully, she dabbles in multiple instruments (guitar, ukulele, and piano), and when she takes the stage, she always makes her presence known as a gifted front-woman. Yet, if I had to succinctly summarize what makes Melanie so special, it's that she is capable everything she touches into art.

Every time I've seen Melanie perform, she wows me with her catchy and eclectically arranged original songs. She'll always display an impressive range of emotion for each of her compositions, often sharing very relatable emotions and charming the audience with well-crafted stories, before she starts singing. No one song of hers is the same and any crowd will be drawn in by each tune's diverse vocal delivery and instrumental arrangement (not to mention, the crowd will also love the very colorful coordinated outfits she and her band often wear!). That Melanie has so much artistic skill shouldn't surprise anyone: she puts the same care and attention when preparing the food she cooks, working her day job as a first-rate chef.

Melanie pays great tribute to the pop artists that influenced her, by performing upbeat songs, sentimental songs, touching sombre songs, and songs that just make you want to party! She is just as much a kind and beautiful soul, as she is a talented musician, and I can confidently assert that someone so artistically driven will go far as she advances in the field.
