September 23, 2024So engaging and great with kids
Meghan came and joined us as a "roaming" juggler for a circus themed kids birthday party. She was right on time, great at her craft, and was so engaging and great with the kids (and adults). We even have a few budding jugglers as a result of some coaching and practice at the party. She brought quite a few props and we really enjoyed all she added to the event!

What to expect
I can provide both stage and ambient performance. Currently the acts I have ready for stage are: solo juggling (3min) solo dance trapeze (5min), duo club juggling (4min) and tight wire walking (4min). These are in the style of contemporary circus, weaving a strong dance influence into the acrobatic elements of each discipline. With a month's advance notice I can create an act to suit your needs, however the more notice I have the more I can suit your needs!
As for ambient I currently am offering roving ball and club juggling, contact juggling, as well as ambient trapeze performance. I provide entertainment for all ages, my background in teaching has given me so much experience working with kids, and my time in customer service means I know how to interact with all ages. I can become a specific character or style to fit your needs!
About
Meghan McClure is a juggling, dance trapeze, and acrobatics specialist, passionate about ensemble interdisciplinary performances. Her passion for the performing arts has led her to develop many additional skills on and off the stage such as tight wire, fabric, event production and choreography. She loves thinking outside the box to create new ideas with her movement and expression.
After spending her teen years as a youth performer touring with the Flying Gravity Circus, she pursued professional training at the New England Center for Circus Arts and as a graduate from the pre-professional program at The Circus Project. Now with two decades of performing experience Meghan has founded her own circus company Constructive Interference Circus, and regularly performs across the country!. She is passionate about pushing her technical and artistic skill levels while working in collaboration with like minded artists.
Outside of performing and teaching circus, she is a competitive gymnast in both Men’s and Women’s gymnastics where she holds national and regional championship medals. In her spare time you can find her reading a book, making frog stickers, or watching the ducks swim at the local park.
Additional booking notes
Dance ball juggling and club passing are relatively versatile disciplines. A smooth floor and 20' ceilings are ideal, however it is possible to make these work outside on grass, or with shorter ceilings with enough notice.
My needs for tightwire are a level and smooth floor- the rig is 2' high so it fits well in a regularly sized room.
My aerial needs are more in depth. As is the practice in the aerial industry, I will only perform from points that have been inspected by an engineer or a rigger to ensure my, and the guests, safety. For my stage act I prefer ceilings of 20' or more, however with notice I can create a low trapeze act as well. As aerial poses more questions, I would love to have a conversation with you!
I hold insurance from Specialty Insurance to cover aerial, acrobatics, and juggling.
