Megan created a custom arrangement for me. Not only did she base the arrangement on the music provided, but she also sought extensive feedback on how the music made me feel. The piece she created embodied my vision perfectly. Her emotional connection to the music and her creative vision are unparalleled.

What to expect
What to Expect When You Book Me for Your Wedding
The breakdown below applies specifically to weddings, but if you're booking for a birthday, corporate event, dinner party, or an accompanist for your next performance, my process remains consistent. You'll receive the same high-quality service, thorough consultation, and customization no matter the occasion.
1. Consultation
For any event—big or small—we’ll start with a video call to discuss the style and genre of music you’d like to include. I'll ask about the overall vibe you're envisioning and gather details about your event, such as special musical requests, the timeline, venue, processional length, sound requirements, dress code, and more. From there, I can recommend pieces and create a custom "playlist" that aligns with your vision. You’ll also have access to my repertoire list, which includes classical, jazz standards, pop/contemporary, new age, and fandom music. If you have specific songs in mind, I’m happy to accommodate special requests, and I can even craft a bespoke medley of your favorite tunes for the processional. After our consultation, I’ll send you a contract for review. A $100 deposit is required at signing, with the balance due before the first note is played on the day of the event (preferably the week prior).
2. Set-Up at the Venue
Punctuality is a top priority for me. I will arrive well in advance to coordinate with the venue, ensuring I bring the right equipment and set up in the correct spot. If your event is outdoors, I’ll bring a digital piano and amplifier, but I do require a flat surface with ground cover and protection from the elements. I’ll also coordinate with your officiant or day-of coordinator (if applicable) to make sure the timing of processional pieces is impeccable and creates the magical moment you envisioned.
3. The Ceremony
As your guests arrive, I’ll set the tone with a selection of prelude music—whether it’s classical wedding favorites by Chopin and Bach or your favorite modern love songs. When it’s time for the processional, your wedding party and couple will be accompanied down the aisle to your chosen songs, with musical flourishes and crescendos to match the energy of the moment. The advantage of live piano over recorded music is my ability to adapt on the spot—whether it's vamping if things are moving slowly or adjusting the cadence to end the piece exactly when needed.Once the ceremony concludes, I will play a recessional, typically a lively and celebratory piece, followed by a soft postlude as your guests soak in the joy of the moment and prepare to exit or transition to the next part of your event.
Depending on your package, I can also perform during your cocktail hour and/or dinner. If there’s a change of location, I’ll need some time to strike and reset my equipment and perform a thorough sound check to ensure the music complements the space without impeding conversation. Just like with the ceremony, the chosen pieces match the atmosphere you want to create.
Special Requests
If you have a unique situation or any special requests, don’t hesitate to ask. Let’s work together to make your event truly unforgettable!
About
As a wedding and event pianist, I specialize in creating elegant, memorable atmospheres through live music. Whether it’s classical, jazz, or contemporary favorites, I love curating and arranging music that reflects each client’s unique vision. I’m always happy to personalize pieces to make your day even more special.
I’m a graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Music piano program and hold both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Education. Alongside performing, I’m also a dedicated music educator.
Based on the beautiful Oregon Coast, I feel lucky to live and work in a place that constantly inspires creativity and calm. I look forward to bringing a touch of that beauty and inspiration to your next special event.
Additional booking notes
If your venue doesn't already have a piano. I will provide a digital piano with stand and bench, amplifier extension cord and clip light. I require a 3-prong power outlet, ground that is level and covered and protection from the elements (such as an awning or canopy). In our lovely coastal climate, I can only set up my digital piano if I can be assured it will stay dry. Please make contingency plans accordingly.
