Overview

Meagan Hope, is a professional singer-songwriter and also psychic medium. Meagan is a 60’s spirit who grew up in the 90’s and her sound captures both the 60’s & 70’s but also has a strong 90’s alternative rock influence. With an alto range much like Natalie Merchant, Stevie Nicks, and Grace Slick; her music naturally has this 60’s/70's/90’s influence. Her full band can play rock n roll covers from the 60's, 70's and 90's alternative rock and grunge. And they can also play original songs that sound like those era's!

Meagan is also a professional psychic medium and offers her gifts for groups, parties, and events. Hiring Meagan Hope is an experience your guests won't forget!

Good Classic Rock Band

Peace, Love, and Grunge showed up for our annual neighborhood block party and were very professional. They supplied all of the equipment and showed up on time. They had a good variety of music and conversed well with the audience. Warning, though, they are loud! Make sure to have a few earplugs available for any youngsters that might be running around. They played for two hours and joined everyone for some barbecue. Very fun folks.

Great Performance!

Our end of year harvest festival (3 years running now) celebrates the end of the harvest season for our local farm. Generally we tend to have country bands, folk bands at our celebration, but this year we wanted something a bit different and something a lot of people could relate to. Peace Love and Grunge brought a very professional and fun vibe to our event. The music was well received, especially a lot of the 60s and 70s tunes that haven't been played or heard in a long time! We get a "younger" crowd too, so having some songs from the 90s and 00s thrown in was great!

We highly recommend them for any event or celebration wanting something more than just your typical cover song band.

They seriously rocked!!

We hired them for our high school reunion, and I graduated in ‘99. They did such a great job, everyone was dancing all night, and they played one amazing song after another amazing song. Everyone was singing along.

They were so good I'm having them do a personal family event in just a couple months for a 45th birthday.

Wow! This Band Rocks!

Peace, Love & Grunge played my 70th birthday party and my guests were truly pumped up by this band! They really bring the sounds of classic rock n roll to the stage. My pastor was there belting out, You Oughta Know, Zombie, and Lithium (He's a GenX guy and loved this band). It was so much fun to watch my guests have the time of their lives! I absolutely recommend this band to everyone, and go see them play around the PNW!

What to expect

You get up to 3 hours of music from this 6 piece rock & roll band! We play appropriate songs for the crowd. If you don't care about profanities, let us know and we won't do the radio edit version. Meagan Hope, our lead singer has a background in professional event planning from concerts, corporate events, parties, and weddings, she understands what it means to be a professional. So, you can expect this band to show up on time for load in, with time to spare.

We are loads of fun, but we are NOT a dance band. Yes, you can dance to many of our songs, but we do NOT play pop hits. We are true to the sound, rock & roll from the 60's and 90's. Peace and love meets Seattle alternative and grunge!

Lastly, Meagan has a background not only in events, but 10 years experiences as a professional MC. If you need someone to keep things moving along and making special announcements, we can provide that service along with our band playing music.

About

Playing 60's & 90's rock & roll hits...The two eras go together because the late 60's influenced so many songs of the 90's grunge and alternative rock genres! What you WILL HEAR people saying at a PLG concert: "No way, I haven't heard this song forever!" Everyone in the audience will be belting out the lyrics to each and every song!

PLG is a collaboration of seasoned, professional local Portland, Oregon musicians playing nostalgic tunes from the 60's and 90's rock and alternative genres. They sound like Classic Rock smashed into Seattle Grunge and created this band. You'll be dancing and singing to songs that were mega hits but aren't typically covered by other bands that often.

When's the last time you went to a show and heard the band play, Light My Fire, Lithium, Song 2, Praise You, Are You Gonna Go My Way, No Time, Interstate Love Song, Behind Blue Eyes, Hunger Strike, Satisfaction, Mississippi Queen, Woodstock, and You Oughta Know (just to name a few) in the same set? PLG has married two of the most well-known and loved music era's of all time for the ultimate rock & roll EXPERIENCE!
