As the owner of multiple small businesses, Mea offers practical insights and real-world experience. She is known for her high-energy, humor, and ability to engage audiences. Mea is a licensed Predictive Index Partner, Certified Professional and Personal Development Coach, Strengths Scope Practitioner, R+ Trainer, Executive Advisor, Fitness Coach and Time Management expert. She studied business at Washburn University in Topeka Kansas and is a degreed Paralegal. Current affiliations include the Worldwide Association of Female Professionals (WAOFP), National Speakers Association (NSA.) Predictive Index Partners and Strengthscope.

Cultural Competence
Mea's career achievements extend beyond the traditional business world into NASCAR and IndyCar. She negotiated contracts including a groundbreaking six-figure driver development deal with Hendrick Motorsports, one of the most prestigious teams in racing. What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that the driver was her fourteen-year-old son - the youngest driver to sign a NASCAR contract. Adding to the significance of this accomplishment is the fact that her son is Bi-Racial, making him one of the few black drivers in NASCAR's long history. In a sport where diversity has been historically lacking, her son's success represented a significant step forward in breaking down barriers and promoting inclusion.
As a mother and grandmother of a remarkably diverse family, Mea has a wealth of unique experiences. She uses her platform not only to celebrate her son's achievements but also to share the beautiful way her family embraces inclusion and transcends the barriers that often separate us. Mea’s story is inspiring, proving that focusing on what connects us, rather than what divides us, can lead to profound understanding, acceptance, and unity.

Fitness, Wellness, and Personal Information
Mea's "SHIFT Mind+Body" program offers personal and professional development coaching along with fitness, nutrition, and spiritual wellness. Her program boosts energy, reduces stress, and improves overall physical and mental health. She teaches at the City of Lawrence and for the Crunch Fitness chain. Mea is married with three adult children, four grandchildren, and many furry companions. Returning to horseback riding in her late fifties, she now competes in Extreme Cowboy Racing, trail events, and parades. As an R+ Equine apprentice with Greenwalt Equine, she helps individual riders and audiences at Equine Conferences create deeper connections between human and equine partners.

I normally bring the presentation on a thumb drive for you to keep, along with on my lap top. I provide my own clicker and adapters.

My topics are more impactful because I ask people NOT to take notes. There are no handouts. I want the audience to be in the moment with me, not skipping ahead in a handout. I send the entire presentation to the key contact after the event along with the thumbdrive.

I often don't need a mic (just ask my husband). If I am going to use a mic, I prefer a lavalier.
