June 30, 2026JR3 was such a great addition to our event! From the very beginning, he was easy to communicate with, came prepared, and really took the time to understand what we were trying to create. It never felt like he was just showing up to host. He genuinely wanted the event to do well.
Once the event started, he brought the perfect amount of energy. He kept things moving, kept the audience engaged, and knew when to step in and when to let the presenters have their moment. It all felt really natural.
One thing I appreciated most was that he cared beyond his role. He even offered ideas to help promote the event beforehand, which definitely didn’t go unnoticed.

May 27, 2026MC JR3 emceed my 2nd wedding reception this past April and I could not have asked for a more professional and EFFICIENT emcee. He possess a gift informed by his speaking background and is a logistics genius: he keeps your event ON SCHEDULE and running smoothly.
Not only is he a premier host, JR3 is a game master. I brought a box of games for attendees to find their way to should they take a break from the dance floor and sure enough, Jr3 picked up on what I had in mind, and invented a few of his own. He led a group game and adjusted it to be played on a larger scale to accommodate the crowd. Everyone was engaged from start to finish with bellies full of laughter and good food. The event was the perfect way to close out the final event of a 3 event nuptial. We'd hire him again and again, and you should too! That's if we or previous customers haven't just beat you to it!

For most events, I require a working microphone and sound system suitable for the size of the room or venue. Wireless microphone preferred. For larger events, outdoor events, or events with music/DJ support, client should provide or coordinate appropriate sound equipment. A clear event timeline or run-of-show is requested in advance. If staging or lighting is available, that is helpful but not required. I can adapt to most event spaces as long as guests can clearly hear me.

My influences come from a mix of church, journalism, community, and queer nightlife. My first and strongest influences were my father, my grandmother, and the church spaces that taught me how to speak with presence, timing, reverence, and joy. I was also shaped by growing up watching the news, especially Black anchors and journalists who showed me the power of clarity, confidence, and storytelling.
As a host, I have also been deeply influenced by the countless drag queens I watched command rooms during my club days. Drag taught me stage presence, quick wit, crowd work, confidence, adaptability, and how to turn a moment into an experience. That blend of church, media, family, and nightlife is what shapes my style: polished, charismatic, funny, flexible, and always connected to the room.
