Maya Derbise is an award-winning performer with a versatile voice range in pop, folk, musicals, and opera. Maya’s musical journey began at an early age, nurtured by her mother, a musical theater teacher, which led her to star in multiple productions throughout her childhood.

Her formal training began in Paris, France, where she studied musical theater before pursuing a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of California, Santa Cruz. During her time at UC Santa Cruz, Maya found her true passion in classical singing, honing her craft and expanding her vocal technique.

A highlight of her career came when she was featured on the front page of The Good Times performing in Henry Purcell’s The Fairy Queen. With a deep passion for classical music, Maya continues to push boundaries in her performances, bringing emotional depth to every stage she graces.
