I am a professional pianist and keyboardist with over 20 years of experience playing for events, bands, pit orchestras, and music groups. I am able to offer anything from fully improvised background music to specific renditions of songs or sheet music.
I utilize MainStage for live performance and can create custom sounds for songs, including adding in sampled instruments or electronica sounds from the wide array of virtual instruments I have collected over time.

January 31, 2026Max was the pianist for our wedding. He was amazing! Very prompt, professional and obviously talented. We had this tik-tok inspired idea for someone to play the traditional walk down the aisle wedding song and have it transition into Interstellar and he carried that out seamlessly! He was also very easy to communicate with. Open to any ideas and requests. He was able to play pieces from our favorite TV shows and anime. The only bummer was that we weren't able to listen to him during cocktail hour because this is when we were taking photos. But we would 100% recommend him for any event. He was amazing!

Max is an Austin, TX native and has played piano and keyboard professionally for over 20 years. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from Oklahoma City University. Max plays weekly in the Praise Band at Bethany United Methodist Church as a keyboardist, and regularly plays in musical pits and other live performance settings.
One of Max's specialties is taking any known music and being able to create a unique arrangement in any feel desired. Soft jazzy versions of pop music, wedding arrangements of film and tv hits, etc. Another unique offering is Max's ability to provide sampled instruments of any kind live, whether realistic strings to add a full orchestral vibe, or electronic pads and synths to create a more modern sound.
Playing by ear, by sheet music, or even improvising are all offered freely!
