Max Darling

My performance style is very much classic burlesque with traditional tease, bump, and grind. I mix sass with class and comedy to give them the right idea. Max Darling was given life in the city of Buffalo, NY. Max Darling grew up surrounded by the arts and theater, Max has over 12 years of training in stage acting and dance. As a child Max was often mistaken for a female and grew up questioning his place in not only society but in his own sexual and personal orientation. Growing interests in icons such as Jane Russel, Liza Minnelli, Marilyn Monroe, and many other colorful Hollywood sirens Max slowly started in developing his own stage personality. Sometimes known as Trixie Rougue, Max discovered the art of drag and began his career as a night life social celebrity. Frustrated still, with the molds and rules of the drag community, Max found himself under the wing of local Burlesque name Mistress J. Kiss of The STRIPTEASERS and was quickly thrusted unto audiences, taking the stage at various venues across the city. Max Darling has become the face of Boylesque in Buffalo.

Max Darling is known for blurring the lines between femininity and masculinity. Said to be "The Best Ass In Boylesque" Max mixes sexuality, pounds of glitter, and enough ass to feed an army to deliver libido charged routines that leave audiences wincing for more.

Recently moved to Los Angeles CA, Max has collaborated with Dolz Haus productions in DTLA in a weekly show at the Lexington Bar in down town.
