Overview
Matthew earned a Doctorate in Jazz Performance at the University of Illinois, and provides jazz, latin jazz, and improvised music as a soloist or with a variety of ensemble sizes. He plays vibraphone, drum set, congas, timbales, and other percussion, and works with many talented local bassists, saxophonists, trumpeters, guitarists, pianists, and singers.

I hired Matthew play for a party I threw and he was amazing. The trio I requested included vibraphone, upright Bass and drums. I highly recommend them all! The music was exactly what I wanted. Matthew was very responsive and reliable. They all dressed in Hawaiian shirts as it was a tiki them party. I would definitely use Matthew and his guys for a future event!
