Currently working on his fourth studio album with renown Jazz producer Jeff Lorber, James is a versatile musician with a magnetic personality.

About
Born in Oshawa, Ontario, the seeds of Matthew James' love for music was planted in 1985 by his music teacher who placed him in the senior band when he was only in grade 3. From there his aptitude for piano, guitar and saxophone grew to what it is today. With three CDs to his credit, his Generations CD from 2012 reached certified gold status.
His influences include Oscar Peterson, Kenny G and Dave Koz.
