Originally from Michigan and now based in Punta Gorda, Florida, Matt Krause has been a staple of the local music scene for nearly a decade. With over 20 years of experience playing guitar, Matt delivers a dynamic mix of acoustic folk, indie, rock, country, and modern hits—bringing heartfelt performances and a polished sound to every stage.

Equiped with state-of-the-art gear, a looper, and a drum machine, Matt builds rich, multi-layered arrangements live, creating the full-band experience as a one-man act. In addition to acoustic guitar, he plays electric guitar, piano, and drums, showcasing both versatility and musicianship. Whether it’s an intimate coffeehouse set or a lively evening crowd, Matt adapts his style to suit the room.

Matt also performs with The Flood Brothers, a southern country-rock-folk band, and partners in a duo act with Danielle, a gifted piano player and vocal coach. Together, they perform smooth, jazzy, and pop-infused sets—perfect for upscale weddings, private events, and more refined venues.
