When you hire Matt Felten you're hiring an expert performer with decades of experience entertaining audiences in all different settings and from all walks of life. Though he specializes in close-up sleight of hand magic, he's just as much at home on a stage performing mentalism and other illusions. Whether Matt is performing for four people or a crowd of four thousand, he creates an experience that will turn a moment into a lasting memory your guests will be talking about for a long time.

From a practical standpoint, his acts are virtually self-contained and require minimal setup with little to no tech so he can adapt to any venue. Matt also has a vast repertoire of material so he can tailor his act to a specific audience creating an unique and interactive experience every time.

Matt Felten has been a professional performer and entertainer for over 20 years. After graduating with a degree in Theater Arts, Matt went to work for the Atlanta Shakespeare Company where he was a resident Artistic Associate for 12 years. It was during that time that he fell in love with Magic and began working with Out of Hand Theater to write and produce his own shows that would tour private residences throughout the Atlanta area.

In between private bookings and corporate events, Matt could be found performing magic for audiences at the World of Coca-Cola museum during its busy summer months. Eventually the lure of the magic scene in LA and the Magic Castle in Hollywood would bring Matt out to California where he's continued to amaze audiences for the last 9 years. When he's not performing, he can be found teaching the next generation of magicians at USC where his is currently a professor of Magic at the School of Dramatic Arts.

Drawing from his deep roots in theater and storytelling, Matt’s style of performance goes beyond the typical “and for my next trick” and takes you on a journey reminding you what it’s like to make-believe and feel like a kid again.

Matt's acts are self-contained and do not require any tech beyond possible sound amplification depending on the size of the venue.
