Overview

The Matt Baker Comedy Stunt Show is a high energy, interactive one man variety show. Matt is a stand up comedian with amazing skills. His show blends hilarious observations and funny stories with jaw dropping stunts like catching a bowling ball on his head, a horse with his face, spearing vegetables with spikes and juggling with his mouth. Matt performs his show all over the world for corporate events, colleges, festivals, cruise ships and special events. Matt is a 5 time Guinness World Record Holder, was featured at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and has appeared on numerous TV shows including Tosh.0, ESPN, Last Comic Standing, CCTV in China and on the hit show America’s Got Talent.

So funny

I am still getting emails from guests saying how much they enjoyed the show,he was there early and ready to perform and he had the whole room laughing his show was just right for the audience that we had. i would highly recomend him.

Good Stuff!

Super entertaining, our entire company raved about him that night and the next day. There was never a dull moment when Matt was on stage and we laughed the entire time! Would recommend Matt to anyone, he's fun to watch and we would absolutely hire him again.

Matt kept the audience engaged from start to finish!

Matt Baker did a fantastic job as the finale to our school auction event! Our parents loved him....he was hilarious and truly talented at very unique stunts. The way he interacted with the audience and brought people on stage truly kept us engaged.

Matt Baker is an award winning comedian, writer and juggler based out of Seattle Washington. Technical Rider (page 1)

Matt can adapt his act to fit the needs of the performance space as long as the details are discussed beforehand.

Space Needs
- Minimum of 8’ deep by 12’ wide stage or raised performance space, ideally bigger. (a modified version of the show can be performed in a smaller space)
- 12’ high or greater ceilings (a modified version of the show can be performed with 9’ ceilings)
- If the stage is more than 2 ft high stairs to stage need to be provided for audience participation parts of the show.
- Stairs should be easily accessible from the audience and If possible placed at the front of the stage

Light Needs
- House lights dimmed or completely out with stage lighting only
- Backlights on stage
- General white wash
- If stage lighting is not available Matt will need as much light on stage as possible

Sound Needs
- Matt has his own microphone that he will patch into the house P.A.
- Two XLR inputs
- One electrical outlet (or an extension chord that reaches one)
- The person introducing Matt will need his or her own microphone
- A technician to adjust levels and monitor sound throughout the show
- Matt may be able to provide his own sound system if needed

Seating arrangements
- All chairs need to be facing the stage before Showtime
- Please provide space to maneuver throughout the audience for quick access to stage from the audience
- The audience must be no farther than 5 ft from the stage, the closer the better

Showtime
- Matt will not perform during dinner and it is best to wait until after dessert has been served.
- Please instruct the wait staff to only be serving drinks and not clearing tables or walking in front of the audience.
- If events follow Matt’s performance on stage, Matt will need a space to put his stuff out of sight directly following the performance

Backstage Needs
- A Space to warm up and change with mirrors, chairs and a bathroom that has quick access to stage

Misc.
- One round-trip airfare from Seattle, WA (Sea-Tac)
- One non-smoking hotel room
- Private ground transportation from the airport to the hotel and venue. The car must be large enough for Matt’s equipment
- Two Bottles of water for performance
- Coffee before performance (I am from Seattle)
- Two large apples
- Any customized material, scripts, specialized props, names of important people within the
company etc. need to be provided at least one week prior to the performance.

I am really excited about tonight’s/today’s entertainment. He was voted Seattle's Funniest Prop Comic, is a five time Guinness world record holder, and has been featured on television shows like Tosh.0, America's Got Talent and Last Comic Standing. He has performed for presidential candidates and also overseas for our troops. Ladies and Gentlemen please give a loud round of applause for an extremely funny man, MATT BAKER!
