What to expect

When you book me, you get a polished live acoustic performance and a stress-free experience from first contact to final song.

A big advantage I offer: my sound system is fully battery powered, so I can perform anywhere with full PA and amplification for up to 90 minutes with no power source at all. Beaches, parks, courtyards, remote outdoor venues. If you can picture music there, I can play there. With access to a single standard wall outlet, I can perform for up to 4 hours.

What your guests will see: a professional acoustic guitarist and vocalist delivering familiar favorites from classic rock, yacht rock, pop, folk, and country. Depending on your event, that can look like upbeat, high-energy sets for a patio party, smooth background music that keeps conversation easy at a dinner or corporate mixer, or a warm mix of both that follows the room's mood. I take requests throughout and interact with the crowd as much or as little as your event calls for.

What you as the planner will get:

- A complete professional sound/PA system and microphones for indoor or outdoor events of any size, at no extra charge
- Battery-powered capability: no outlet, no problem up to 90 minutes.
- Early arrival, full setup, and sound check completed before guests arrive
- Flexible set lengths and breaks built around your event timeline
- Volume awareness: loud enough to set the mood, never so loud your guests can't talk
- Clear, prompt communication from booking through event day

Typical bookings run 2 to 3 hours, and I'm happy to build a set around a theme, era, or special song for your occasion. My goal is that the music is the thing guests compliment and the thing you never had to worry about.

About

I'm an acoustic guitarist and vocalist based in Southern California, and my job is simple: make your event feel effortless and sound great.

I've been performing live for 15 years, playing everything from beer garden patios and neighborhood cafés to brunch venues, private clubs, corporate events, and national tours opening up for bands like The Gin Blossoms and members of Matchbox 20. That range has taught me the most valuable skill a live musician can have: reading the room. Some events want a lively, sing-along energy; others call for warm background music that keeps conversation flowing. I adjust volume, tempo, and song selection in real time so the music always fits the moment instead of fighting it.

My songbook runs deep across classic rock, yacht rock, pop, folk, and country, with the familiar favorites that land with every generation at the table. Requests are always welcome, and I'm happy to learn a special song for weddings, anniversaries, or birthdays with enough notice.

I perform both as a instrumental guitarist and solo instrumentalist, so I can scale the sound to fit your space and budget. Either way, I come fully self-contained with a professional sound/PA system and microphones suited for indoor or outdoor setups of any size. I arrive early, sound-check before your guests do, and keep everything low-fuss on your end.

Whether you're planning a laid-back Sunday brunch, a corporate mixer, or a backyard party, I'd love to help make it one your guests remember. Thanks for stopping by my profile!

Additional booking notes

SOUND
I am fully self-contained. I provide my own professional PA system, microphones, cables, and all instruments. No house sound system or sound engineer is needed.

POWER
My rig is battery powered, so I can perform up to 90 minutes with no power source at all. This makes beaches, parks, courtyards, boats, and remote outdoor locations no problem. For events longer than 90 minutes, I just need access to one standard 120V wall outlet, which allows me to perform up to 4 hours.

SPACE AND STAGING
My footprint is compact: roughly an 6 x 6 ft level area is plenty for a solo setup. A stage is welcome but never required. I can set up on patios, grass, decks, or indoor floors.

OUTDOOR EVENTS
For daytime outdoor performances, shade or cover for me and my equipment is appreciated to protect the gear from direct sun. In case of rain, a covered performance area is required, as the equipment cannot be exposed to water.

LIGHTING
No special lighting is required. For evening events, basic ambient lighting in the performance area is all I need.

SETUP AND TIMING
I arrive approximately 45 to 60 minutes before the performance start time for load-in, setup, and sound check, so everything is ready before your guests arrive. Teardown takes about 30 minutes. Convenient parking or load-in access near the performance area is appreciated.

SETS AND BREAKS
Set lengths and break schedules are flexible and built around your event timeline. A typical booking runs 2 to 3 hours with short breaks; background music during breaks can be arranged on request.
