I PLAY SANTOUR AND SETAR.History of the instruments:
 Setar:
The Setar is a Persian (Iranian) stringed instrument with a small, pear-shaped
sound box and metal strings. Its name means three strings although it has four.
 Santour:
The Santour was invented by Iranians many many years ago (4000 years old). The
earliest sign of it comes from Assyria and Babylonian stone carvings (669 B.C.). It
was introduced to Southeast Asia and Europe. Considering the way Santour is
played, music historians believed that it would be logical to assume that it
provided much inspiration for the invention of the Piano.
