Born and raised in The City Of Angels, Marvin earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University, Los Angeles.
Marvin has traveled internationally, meticulously incorporating musical influences from all over the world.
In the true spirit of classic jazz, his style is characterized by warm, soulful chord progressions and light, minimalist melodies, making it ideal for cocktails, dinner music and elegant receptions of all kinds.
Marvin has earned praise and recognition for masterfully blending Jazz, R&B, Classical, Pop and World Music styles with subtle, seamless sensitivity.
His main influences include Erroll Garner, Stevie Wonder, Ramsey Lewis, Sergio Mendez, Bobby Short, and Joe Sample, just to name a few.
Marvin has established himself as a consummate professional with a long history of reliability and punctuality, to the delight of clients and party planners everywhere!
