Hi I'm Katie :) I'm a singer, pianist, DJ and I work with other singers, pianists, violinists, DJ's and more! We provide entertainment for your wedding, birthday party, or other special event. Our performers are all experienced and trained to use music to elevate your day. What to expect
When you book with me, I (Katie) am your main point of contact throughout the process. I plan your event and timeline with you and make sure all details are covered from the type of music you want, to the more physical logistics of venue space, power, load in requirements, etc.
Whether I'm playing your event, or one of my incredible musicians/DJs, I make sure every "i" is dotted and "t" is crossed. I help you imagine what type of ambience is desired for your event and what choices will be the best for you.
About
My name is Katie. I started my love for music as a classical pianist. I studied under the best teachers my mother could find. I started piano lessons at age 10, had my first paid gig at age 12, and started teaching my own piano lessons at age 14. By 16, I had entered several piano competitions and was performing with the Empire State Youth Orchestra in concert venues including Carnegie Hall.
In 2015, at the age of 17, I was hired as an associate music director at a local church, and I've been performing ever since! Over the years, I've performed hundreds of times as a singer, pianist, guitarist, and DJ. I've performed in many settings: churches, weddings, restaurants, concerts, private parties, dueling pianos, etc. I've been asked to play a variety of music including worship music, classical music, and top hits from the 50's to today. After years of performing a wide range of events, I honed the craft of "reading the room". Different events require different atmospheres and I've learned to adapt to my clients' wishes. Some events require a musician to be in the background adding a classy atmosphere, but not engaging the crowd. Other events require someone to capture the attention of the room and get everyone singing/dancing.
I am so grateful and happy that I've been able to perform for a living. So much so that I wanted to share the love and help other musicians do the same! In 2023, I expanded my company to include other musicians in addition to me! I help my clients hone their day by choosing the best musicians for their event, creating detailed timelines, discussing music and atmosphere choices, and making sure everything is in place for their day to run smoothly.
I am confident in our abilities to deliver the experience our clients desire and would love to work with you for your next event!
Additional booking notes
We can provide everything needed for the event except power! Speakers, pianos, instruments, microphones, lighting, etc. Dance floor lighting is included in all contracts and uplighting is available to add on.
The only thing we do not provide is power. Your venue must have an outlet within 15 feet of our performance area. We can cover the rest :)
