June 6, 2026One of the best event vendors we’ve worked with!
Mariah is an incredibly talented caricature artist! Not only is her artwork amazing, but she has a way of making every person she draws feel comfortable, confident, and special. She is personable, professional, and keeps the energy fun and engaging throughout the entire event.
We’ve hired Mariah for two different events, and both times she has gone above and beyond our expectations. She is efficient, friendly, great with guests of all ages, and always leaves people smiling with a one-of-a-kind keepsake to take home.
If you’re looking for something unique and memorable for a party, corporate event, fundraiser, wedding, or community gathering, I highly recommend Mariah. She is a true professional, and her talent speaks for itself. We can’t wait to have her back again!

June 1, 2026The star of the show!
I hired Maroxby for my wedding welcome reception and it was an instant hit – people got a really fun and unique thing to take home from the event, and Maroxby was a light and a joy to hang out with and kept everyone laughing. Everyone loved working with her and loved their artwork.

Thank you so much for this incredibly kind review! Your wedding welcome reception was such a blast and your family and friends were an absolute joy to draw. Seeing everyone laugh and walk away with their keepsakes is exactly why I love what I do. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness, and I'm so grateful I got to have been a part of your special day.

What to expect
When you book a live caricature artist for your event, here's what you get: a fully self-contained, professional entertainment experience from start to finish.
I arrive set up and ready to draw, bringing all my own supplies, easel, and paper. Guests can choose between classic black & white caricatures (great for moving through larger crowds at 10–15 faces per hour) or vibrant airbrush color portraits for a more premium keepsake (5–10 faces per hour). Digital caricatures are also available for a modern, shareable option guests can post instantly.
Whether your event is indoors or outdoors, I set up a clean, inviting booth that naturally draws a crowd and keeps guests engaged. The experience itself becomes part of the entertainment; guests gather, laugh, and react as the drawing comes to life in real time.
Every guest walks away with a one-of-a-kind piece of art personalized just for them; and event planners walk away knowing their entertainment ran smoothly without any hand-holding required.
About
Ever had your face turned into a work of art? That's what I do, and I've got the awards to prove it!
As a live caricature artist based in Portland, I trained with the legendary crew at The ToonHeadz in Atlanta and brought those skills back to the Pacific Northwest. Whether I'm sketching with pencil or firing up the airbrush for a bold, full-color finish, every caricature is a one-of-a-kind keepsake your guests will actually want to take home.
From weddings and private parties to corporate events and festivals, I bring the good vibes, the laughs, and the crowd energy that keeps your event buzzing. Book a caricature artist your guests will be talking about long after the party ends.
Additional booking notes
Setting up is simple and straightforward. Here's what I need to make it happen smoothly.
Space: A minimum 6x6 ft area for my booth, easel, and working space. A little extra room for guests to gather and watch is always a bonus but not required.
Power: Access to a standard electrical outlet is needed for airbrush equipment and lighting when necessary.
Lighting: Good consistent lighting is important for color accuracy and detail work. Most indoor venues are perfectly fine. For dimly lit spaces or outdoor evening events I can bring my own lighting setup so there are no surprises.
Outdoor Events: I love working outdoors but there are a few things to keep in mind. Shade is required to protect the artwork and airbrush equipment from direct sunlight and heat. Since I work with pencil and paper, wind and moisture can also affect the quality of the drawings, so a covered or sheltered area is strongly recommended. If weather becomes a concern on the day of the event, I am happy to work with you to find the best solution.
The good news is there is no stage, no special flooring, and no load-in crew needed. Just point me to my spot and I'll handle the rest.
