Raised in New Jersey, grew up singing in choirs & performed in singing competitions as a teen. As a child Marlena began her music CAREER at age eight. At the age of 13, she received Teen Female Finalist /Soloist from The McDonalds Gospelfest 2011 at The Prudential Center. Marlena is known for her soulful and powerful voice. She is a true artist that dedicates her all to you when she performs on stage. She loves: RnB, POP and Gospel Music. She has attracted comparisons to entertainers Patti Lebelle, Alicia Keys and earned the nickname (baby Beyonce) for her dynamic highly choreographed performances (see videos on this website or youtube).
