Overview
Hi there! I’m Mark, a professional drummer based in the Bay Area. With over 12 years of live performance experience, I specialize in live drums, backing tracks, and musical direction (MD). From 2014 to 2017, I served as the resident drummer for the ALCF Church Youth Ministry in Mountain View—starting at just 14 years old. Some of my favorite genres to play include Indie Rock, Hip-Hop, Pop, and Gospel. Over the years, I’ve performed everywhere from intimate outdoor events like weddings and parties to larger venues such as the Fox Theater in Redwood City. What to expect
Once contracted, I the talent would provide all and any equipment pertaining to job/instrument. As a drummer, I prefer to play and bring my own drum kit and hardware but I am open to playing a stage kit if properly set up. This includes, drum set, hardware, cymbals and (mics if needed)

Hello! My name is Mark Alvarado and I am a professional drummer based out of Redwood City, California. I have been a drummer now for over 10 years. My passion and love for the drums came at the age of 8 years old. I began playing in churches and any stage that could fit a drum set. I have experience in stage performance, backing tracks, stage set up, and audio engineering. I play genres ranging from pop, hip-hop, gospel, alternative rock, reggae, and many more!
Additional booking notes
Technical requirements can vary deepening on the gig but I prefer to play my gigs with an IEM rig, wedge or monitors if IEMs are not available. Microphones for drums are needed, anywhere from 2- 7 mics and stands will be needed.
