S/SW Mark DeRose has had the pleasure of opening for national touring artists Rusted Root, Gin Blossoms, Michelle Branch, Edwin McCain, Blues Traveler, The Sugar Hill Gang and Josh Kelley. As well, he performed as part of an NFL halftime show for the Baltimore Ravens and his music has been featured for use on daytime television.
Mark’s own orginal music calls upon his love for the rootsy blue-eyed soul and classic rock of the late 60s and 70s. Spanning from the 60’s to present day, Mark brings this same love to his upbeat cover song list he’s curated over the last 3 decades of working and performing at a variety of events. Mark's main goal is simple, to spread a little joy through music!

September 24, 2021Mark DeRose and his band were incredible to work with and put on an amazing show!! I hired them for a client appreciation event, and they truly made the event! Mark was incredibly accommodating to a few changes in the schedule, and even pulled out an extra speaker when we needed one for another area of the event! Top notch band - I highly recommend them, and I certainly will be hiring them again!

With close to 3 decades of working and performing at a variety of events, I take great pride in attempting to best understand what an event is looking for! My song repertoire allows me to perform a varied mix of covers spanning from the 60's to present day (and originals upon the client's request). In an effort to accommodate different size events, venues and budgets, I am able to offer performances solo (acoustic) or with my band ranging in size from trio on up to a 6 piece.

Myself and the bands I bring with me are self sufficient. As long as there is ample power provided (that of a standard outlet) we are good to go! We carry our own sound system and lights (when needed).
