Marina's Fun Faces

I will show up 15-30 minutes early to set up my facepainting station with my paint gear. All I need prepared before I arrive typically is a table and two chairs: one for me and one for my little facepainting client.
An important thing to know about facepainting - and this will help you find the best facepainters around - is that a good facepainter can do 6-10 intricate and detailed face designs in one hour. If you want quantity over quality a good facepainter would be able to accommodate and do about 20 faces in that same houe, but the designs are smaller and simpler. We call that cheek art.
If you have an event with for example 50 people expected, and you only need entertainment for 1 hour, you probably need more than one facepainter.
But that's no problem! I have some great facepainter friends! :)

A little bit about me
I reeeeeally enjoy facepainting, and when I mix and match color with glitter and smiles, we have us a great party!! If you want will add glitter tattoos for a fun time and extra pazzazz!

As a Teaching Artist in the New York city schools in creative dance, hula dance, mixed media arts and crafts, and puppetry, I have experience and patience in working with children of all ages across many different disciplines. My facepainting sessions draw from my years of working with groups of children. As a New York theatre and movement artist I have decades of experience in entertaining children and adults alike.

As a faceapinter I travel with all my color and glitter. All I need is a smiling face, a table and chairs to sit on for me and the paintee!
As a hula dancer for a kids' party, the easiest to start the music is with an iPhone hook up. But playing the music is something we can discuss beforehand. Strength of speakers depend on if we're outside or inside etc.
