Marina Alba is an internationally trained violinist, vocalist, and genre-blending performer whose music brings a unique combination of elegance, warmth, and creative energy to every event she plays. Born in Madrid and now based in New York City, Marina has built a reputation as a highly versatile artist, effortlessly moving between classical violin, jazz vocals, improvisation, Latin jazz, Brazilian music, ambient fusion, and contemporary acoustic styles. Her performances are known for their emotional depth, technical excellence, and sophisticated musicality—qualities that make her a standout choice for weddings, private events, corporate functions, luxury venues, art spaces, and intimate gatherings.

Marina grew up in a family of musicians and began studying the violin at age seven. She quickly developed not only strong technical skills but also a deep connection to expression, melody, and storytelling through sound. Alongside violin, she discovered her love of singing early on, performing in the Madrid Community Choir as a child. This dual path—violin and voice—became the foundation of her artistry and continues to define her unique style today.

Marina earned her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance (Summa Cum Laude) with a minor in Jazz Studies from the prestigious Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, one of the top music conservatories in the U.S. During her time there, she trained with distinguished violinists and worked closely with leading jazz educators, enabling her to build a rare and distinctive skill set that bridges classical refinement with jazz phrasing and improvisational creativity.
She is currently completing her graduate studies at the Manhattan School of Music as part of the elite Zukerman Program, studying under some of the world’s greatest violinists, including Pinchas Zukerman. This advanced training continues to sharpen her technique and artistry at the highest level.
