A Hit With Any Party

We were able to secure the Marcus Rockwell Trio for our daughter's holiday party. This party was part of her debutante process and they captured the spirit we needed for the event. They went out of their way to understand the atmosphere we were trying to create and made timely contact with us to make sure they had the latest information.

The night of the event they were setup and ready to go early. They went over the music selections again and got the party started with great music. They were one of the hits of the party and many people came up to us during the party to express how much they loved the trio. We will definitely use them again next year and for future events.

Thank you Marcus Rockwell Trio for making our event a success for our daughter!

About

Since the release of his 1999 CD "A Very Jazz Christmas", his 2003 contemporary gospel/jazz CD "Speak to My Heart", his 2011 release "One Way or Another" with the Jazz Pals and his highly anticipated release "Simplex" with his new band MR3, trumpeter, vocalist and composer Marcus Rockwell has received tremendous comparisons to Miles Davis, Rick Braun and Chris Botti. This success has crossed over to audiences usually reserved for pop music.

Over the past two decades he has shared the stage with the best in music including Larry Carlton, Stanley Clark, Norman Brown, Spyro Gyra, Kem, Will Downing, Gerald Albright and the Blind Boys of Alabama just to name a few.

Marcus' smooth delivery and unique blend of smooth jazz, straight ahead and gospel jazz continues to be a crowd pleaser which translates into an unforgettable concert experience.

If you live in Houston, Austin, or Oklahoma City or beyond, the Marcus Rockwell Trio is willing to travel up to 1,500 miles from the Dallas-Fort Worth area to make your party or event a night to remember!
