Hi, I am Ma'Niya Alexander!
Welcome to Ma'Niya Alexander Photography and Media Studios.
I am a self-taught photographer and videographer from Charlotte, NC. I began my photography journey during my collegiate career at the illustrious Tuskegee University where I earned a bachelor of science in Computer Science.
I am well-versed in Portrait, Fashion, and Event Photography. As well as a host of video production that is available on my Instagram page @MapsAndMedia. My digital footprint in other media adventures consists of being the editor-in-chief for the WYTV7 podcast "MIS-PERFECT", and videographer & editor for the YRM music group.
The reason I began this "all things media" journey with MAPS & Media is that I have a keen eye for capturing moments no one pays enough attention to. A moment everyone relates to but did not realize until it was presented to them. & that's the story I want to share through my work.
