When you book MUSICORDES, the preparation is ours and the peace of mind is yours. We begin with a short conversation about your event and the atmosphere you envision. Before the day, we design the full musical experience together — repertoire, timing, and transitions — so that when the moment arrives, every detail is already resolved. You focus on your guests. I'm Manuel Romero, founder and artistic director of MUSICORDES, a premium string collective based in Montréal.

I don't think of what I do as playing at an event. I think of it as designing the sound of a moment — choosing every piece, every silence, and every transition so your event feels exactly as you imagined it.

Classically trained with a Master's in Violin Performance from the Université de Montréal, and a recording artist for film scores, I bring a repertoire spanning classical, film, jazz, and contemporary — curated to fit your day, never played from a fixed list.

Solo violin for an intimate ceremony, a duo for cocktail hour, or a full string quartet for a grand reception: every performance is prepared in advance, so nothing is left to chance.

MUSICORDES performs across Montréal, all of Québec, and Ontario — including Québec City, Ottawa, Gatineau, and Sherbrooke.

Additional booking notes

Stage — A flat, stable, unobstructed area: 8ft x 10ft minimum for solo, more for ensembles.

Outdoor events — A covered, shaded space, protected from sun and rain (essential for the instrument).

Lighting — Bright, warm, even light; I can provide my own if needed.

Sound — A clean sound system for larger venues; intimate settings performed acoustically.

Attire — Formal black; tuxedo or formal dress on request.

Repertoire — Baroque to contemporary, plus personalized arrangements of the songs that matter to you.

Every detail is confirmed in advance, so the day itself is effortless.
