July 30, 2025Samuel was supposed to be our violinist for my wedding, but he delegated the role to one of his team members. I don’t have a problem with that as long as the person is professional.
The person came late to the wedding (which can be reasonable since he had car issues) but while playing the songs, the transitions between songs were far to long. The pause was awkward especially when I was walking down the aisle and there wasn’t any music playing.
Overall, it could of been better. Samuel could of explained his reason for not being able to play for my wedding when I have paid him to play. According to my guest, the violinist who played was quite amateur.

Stage Requirements:
-I require a stage area of at least 8ft x 10ft for solo performances, and a larger stage for chamber ensemble performances. The stage should be flat, stable and free of any obstructions that may interfere with the performance.
-Lighting Requirements: Adequate lighting is essential for any performance. I require bright, warm lighting that is evenly distributed across the stage area. If the performance is in a dimly lit venue, I can provide additional lighting to ensure optimal visibility.
-Sound Requirements: High-quality sound equipment is essential for a successful performance. I require a sound system that is capable of delivering crisp, clear sound that is free of distortion.
-Dress Code: As a professional classical violinist, I adhere to a formal dress code for all performances. For solo performances, I typically wear a tuxedo or a formal gown, while for ensemble performances, I wear formal black attire.
-Repertoire: I have an extensive repertoire of classical music, ranging from Baroque to contemporary. I am also open to accommodating specific requests for performances, including personalized arrangements of popular songs.
