Providing Music for private parties, All Genre, for dancing, some Country, R&R, Hawaiian, etc. I was the bass player with Don Ho & recorded "Tiny Bubbles" with him besides touring continental US and TV appearances. I have won Male Singer/Song Writer of Year with the Los Angeles Music Awards and also Lifetime Achievement Award.

About

Manny LaGod was the original bass player with “Don Ho & the Swinging Aliis” and recorded with Don Ho on his earlier hit records including “Tiny Bubbles” with Reprise and Daybreak record labels!

Appeared with Don Ho on “I dream of Jeanie, Merv Griffin, Artur Godfrey, Hollywood Palace, Sands Hotel, Las Vegas, several TV specials.

He was personal manager to “Barry Kim” and entertainment director for a short stint with “Inter-Island Resorts” and sold real estate all in Hawaii! Manny has performed at several hotels in Las Vegas over the years and his latest was the Holiday Casino in Downtown Las Vegas!

Manny LaGod released his 1st solo CD ever in July 2006. Submitting a song he wrote and recorded in 1977 titled “Sunday Mornings” (released in 2006) to the Fitgers Brewhouse Triathlon in Duluth Minnesota for a compilation CD, his song was selected from among thousands of recordings that were submitted by other artists! (Sunday Mornings composed by Manny LaGod was arranged by Larry Cansler who was the former musical director for Kenny Roger’s & the 1st Edition)

Manny’s next submission was for an Oasis CD manufacturing company compilation CD in the Jazz Genre. (His recorded rendition of “Something” written by the Beatles was selected the #1 song to open this compilation CD that included 32 various artists in Jazz!)

His submission of “Sunday Mornings” won him an award for Male Singer/Song Writer of the Year with the Los Angeles Music Awards in 2006. Manny’s CD has reached the new artists top 10 jazz playlist in several cities, Williamsport, PA, Tucson, Arizona, West Hartford, Ct., Worchester, Ma.
Manny was also awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award” for music in Hawaii
