A versatile performer with an engaging stage personality, Mandy delivers a curated set of jazz standards, pop, Great American Songbook, pop/Adult Contemporary, or holiday to match the desired mood and style of any private party or corporate event. A thoughtful event designer in her own right, she understands the critical role of music in creating a memorable event, so she works to ensure that the set list, timing, and presentation of the band match the vision of each event's planner. While her stage performances - including her popular "Firecracker Jazz" shows - highlight her showmanship, Mandy and her musicians are equally skilled at providing background entertainment on any scale and scope. Recognizing that the many "moving parts" of event planning can be stressful, Mandy aims to provide a stress-free experience for her clients through her professionalism, proactive communication, attention to detail, and - above all - a top-notch musical performance.

Informed by a diverse musical background, vibrant Los Angeles vocalist Mandy Kemp bring sass, soul, and sultry sophistication to the music she performs - whether it's Great American Songbook material, contemporary vocal jazz, or crossover Pop. Mandy's vibrant, dynamic style of vocal jazz is best defined in her signature show, Firecracker Jazz, which she debuted at L.A.'s prestigious Upstairs at Vitello’s in October 2017. Dazzling audiences in regular appearances alongside many of Southern California's most prominent players, Mandy's "firecracker" presence has quickly placed her among the L.A. jazz scene's hot up-and-coming talents.

Yamaha 400W, 8-channel portable PA system with second microphone can be provided for the event, upon request. Use of the entertainer-provided PA is limited to performance by Mandy's band and host addresses only. Bluetooth receiver can also stream digital tracks from Apple devices through the PA, if desired.
