Magic Shots: A Tribute to Women Who Rock

Our performances are fun and energetic, as we play easily recognizable songs that an audience will want to sing and dance to. Our catalogue consists of hits by: Tina Turner, Heart, Pat Benatar, Cyndi Lauper, No Doubt, Alanis Morrissette, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo and more. We will be happy to modify our set and lyrics to fit any type of atmosphere from family friendly events to rowdy bars. Our goal is to put smiles on faces and creating good memories of great times.

Magic Shots was born out of a passion for music shared by 2 people in a blossoming relationship. Robert played bass in a 90's alt rock cover band, and Christine was feeling inspired to tap back into her expressive side once again. An idea was formed to create something new, with more engagement and presentation than either had typically seen, with a focus on paying homage to all of the amazing women trailblazers in the music industry who rock - across genres or eras. That idea has grown as we rounded out the band with Gerad, a drummer extraordinaire that's been a staple in the DFW local music scene since around 2000, and David, a bass player with decades of experience and an unmatched love for all music. Led by Christine's powerhouse vocals, we played our first show in February 2024. We have since taken a little time off to celebrate the marriage of Robert and Christine, and are now moving full steam ahead to bring all the fun and excitement possible to your next special event!

We will bring our own lights and can work with whatever stage setup is available. Our sound equipment is adaptable to any environment big or small, and can be compatible with whatever equipment exists onsite already If preferred.
