MacFour

MacFour is determined to keep a classic flavor alive by emulating inspirational R&B groups. They study video performances on a daily basis and strive to make sure that every last move they perform is done to perfection. Their sound is a clever mix of old school R&B and a new school flavor that is exciting and refreshing in today's musical landscape. If you like performances in the styles of "The Jackson 5", "New Edition", "Dru Hill," etc, then we are the group for you.
MacFour is available to perform for weddings, parties, special events, etc.

MacFour in Baltimore, MD was created in December of 2010 to the tune of New Edition ‘Heart Break.’ Our father, Kevin McKenney, challenged Kevin (KJ), then age nine, to imitate the moves they were watching New Edition perform. KJ was more than happy to show his talent and was soon joined by his brothers K’Von,
K-Love and Keith until all four of us were rocking to the rhythm of the popular song.
A few days later, KJ asked our father when they were going to rehearse, and Kevin told him that New Edition rehearsed and prepared hard every day, to get where they are today. He said, “Study the Greats, to be Great!” With that in mind, we began our daily routine of rehearsals after school, eventually landing our first performance in August 2011.
Since then MacFour has performed in several shows in the DMV (Washington, DC; Maryland, Virginia) region. Promoters soon selected our group to perform during The Baltimore Superfest presentations and at The Depot Night Club
Our other appearances include NowTown/Motown Revue, WOLB Radio appearance with Doni Glover, a spot on Fox 45 Good Day Baltimore, Auditions for America Got Talent, Apollo and countless Christmas shows, and school dances. Each one was a unique chance to demonstrate our talent for music and dance.
As MacFour, we are determined to keep the classic RNB flavor alive by emulating inspirational groups like The Temptations, Jackson 5,New Edition, Dru-Hill, and Ne-Yo. We study video performances by these groups on a daily basis and have also enlisted the assistance of a vocal coach in order to improve our craft. We have come a long way since 2010, and we are more than ever determined to continue through hard work to improve our artistic skills.

MacFour will never forget where it all started on December 4th in Baltimore, MD. Eventually We relocated to Georgia in April 2017 to further our careers.

In the event Purchaser is responsible for Artist’s lodging, Management requires that artist hotel be rated THREE-FOUR STAR, HOTELS shall be full service, reservations for one (1) Bedroom suite,
Two (2) Double Rooms

LIGHTING SYSTEM
1-Lightning Technician will be required to focus and operate the system. (He/ She will be briefed by and take direction from the Production Manager.
