I will work with the client to coordinate the type of event whether it's a surprise birthday, anniversary, corporate event, etc. If it's a surprise I will coordinate on the day of the event via texting to maximize the surprise effect. I will dress accordingly to the event, tropical, formal, coat and tie, mariachi, etc.

Also if there's a special song request or two I will make every effort to learn the song if there's time but if now at a minimum can perform the song with sheet music and a music stand which is usually the case if there's not enough time to memorize/learn the song.

I will also provide a small or large PA if required.

Luis Trevino is a musician based out of North Alabama and performs as a solo artist in his solo show and his El Solo Amigo one man show. He also performs with other musicians in various settings as a duo, trio and larger playing a wide variety of jazz, Latin jazz, Latin, and even adding in salsa and merengue flavors to many songs. He serves as band leader, trumpeter, percussionist, and vocalist. He also leads a Latin Jazz Band performing the many styles from Santana, Gypsy Kings, and performing cool songs such as Suavacito, Santeria, Despacito and more. Luis has been also leading Los Tres Amigos mariachi band which was formed in 2010 performing as an American Party Mariachi Band performing classic mariachi music from traditional Mexican folk music, providing a lively presence. And also playing many popular songs in the Mariachi thread such as La Bamba, Ring of Fire (Johnny Cash), Crazy (Patsy Cline), Texas Tornados, Freddy Fender, Three Little Birds (Bob Marley), Spanish Eyes, Tequilla, Summertime, Sweet Home Alabama, Rocky Top, and more: a wide variety of music carried over into all realms of performance from Jazz and more.

These ensembles provide modern upbeat variety festive music entertaining clients from Indianapolis to New Orleans including Birmingham, Huntsville, Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte, and the Memphis areas since 2010, and even playing for Bonnaroo 2016 in Manchester TN. Recently Luis has performed as a solo artist up in New Jersey for 4 events for the vice president of Home Depot. Luis specializes in performing for festivals, backyard fiestas, wedding receptions, wedding rehearsal dinners, proposals, surprise birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, Hispanic Heritage Month, corporate, university and school functions. Luis has also performed for Cinco De Mayo in the major hubs of Nashville, Birmingham, and Huntsville since 2014. Their music is composed of jazz, pop, Mexican, Latin-jazz, salsa and merengue grooves, some standards, some popular country songs and tropical. Luis sings in English, Spanish, and some Portuguese. Luis provides shows that have really been a boon for those really cozy settings in homes, small wedding venues, and restaurant events. Luis specializes in playing trumpet and also plays the keyboard, ukulele and guitar, Honer melodica, and Latin percussion along with vocals with a small PA if required. His music has taken him to meet very nice people across the Midwest and Southeast...nice times, nice people, creating lasting friends and more importantly, memories for his clients. Luis was also the band leader of the Latin Rhythms Band from 1995 to 2009 serving as the lead trumpeter and vocalist providing robust energetic sounds, dance music, salsa, merengue, and Latin rock for club scenes, music festivals, dances, and corporate events. The Latin Rhythms Band was the opening act for Latin Grammy Winner Paquito D' Rivera and his Cuban band in 2005 and also for Latin Grammy Winner Nestor Torres and his Cuban band in 2007. Luis was also the band leader of the jazzy Latin band called Soft Note Combo from 1996 through 2016 with 3 to 4 musicians providing lively music for corporate venues, wedding receptions, balls, parties. The Soft Note Combo was the opening act for the World Renown Glenn Miller Orchestra in 2003 & 2004, and most recently performing for Mississippi State on campus in Starkville in 2016 and 2017.

We are a veteran of playing for Bonnaroo twice in 2016, been featured in a hip hop music video, a Birmingham car commercial, performed in a reality USA Network TV show Chrisley Knows Best, aired on 10/21/21 "Age Against the Machine"

Luis even played an original song called Noche De Paz and acted in the 2021 release of the new country western thriller called Potter's Ground filmed in Copper Canyon Ranch in Kentucky
