She was great on getting personal background and used it in the telegram .
The birthday boy was shocked she knew so much .

January 17, 2025I was at a restaurant a few months ago, and there was a gathering of people all laughing and cheering. I walked past, to see what was up, and saw this crazy-looking woman with teeth missing, cracking jokes and singing! I realized this was some sort of telegram for the guy sitting at a table, as the crazy lady handed him a trophy and a gift as everyone applauded. I was intrigued, and asked for a card when she left.
It was Denise from Lousiville Singing Telegrams.
I went to the website and was blown away by the different characters to choose from. What I saw at the restaurant was the character "Eucrid". Absolutely hilarious! But holy cow, you can get everything from that tooth-missing bit of hilarity to the gorgeous Marilyn Monroe! I chose Marilyn for my boss at work who was retiring. I thought, "Oh, this is gonna top the others' gifts at the office!" ... and I was right!
When I booked the telegram, Denise called me and got all sorts of details about the occasion, as well as "good to know" info about my boss, so she could personalize the telegram - stuff like his interests, including music, which all went into the telegram she would perform.
As I had hoped (and actually fully expected after that phone call), the telegram was a smash.
I was in awe, realizing I was watching a gorgeous Marilyn singing breathy personalized snippets of tunes to my boss, and this was the same person who I saw with teeth missing and the homeliest look ever, just a few weeks before!
What an incredible talent, and an unforgettable send-off for my boss! I highly recommend Denise for whatever you may wish to celebrate. Heck, I even see she can officiate a marriage too!

My job is so much fun but it is still a job. I am very serious about being silly.
I am professional, responsible and punctual.
My costumes and wigs are all top notch.
My singing telegrams are all about the recipient. I am going to choose song snippets and gifts that are unique to that individual. I am even going to decorate the gift bag. I have a closet full of different gifts.
The entire production is done by me. I write the show, make the gifts and preform a singing telegram like no other. I am not a boilerplate kind of chick. Not that there is anything wrong with that.😉
I handle the upkeep and repairs on all of my costumes.
I am the person in every photo you see. No one else does my telegrams.
If you want something out of the ordinary, I can do it. I don't scare easily.
You may capture and post the telegram. They are meant to be shared! Just tag GigSalad.
If you want a character I don't offer, we can make that happen.
I won't do copyright protected characters however. I also won't do anything to sully Miss Monroe's image.
When I am the Easter Bunny, I have very few criers. My energy is quite pure so children are attracted to me. I am a talking bunny. I don't accept bribes to get a child in a photo. If a child is scared, it is okay. Bribing them to do something they are scared of its a very dangerous thing.
I have been in some sort of show biz my entire life. I have never had a traditional job.
I have been a model and actress with national credits.
I worked in the beauty pageant/model search world. Director, Judge, M.C.
I worked in live music. Manager, agent, buyer.
All of these jobs required lots of non glamourous tasks. Most of it is non glamourous! Lots of rejection, lots of angry people. Pageants and Rock and Roll at the same time. Every day someone was mad at me because I didn't book their band or their child didn't the prize.
I have slept on floors, stayed in hostels, hauled my luggage through Manhattan. I have flown to places where I did not speak the language on flights that had numerous layovers.
I have earned the right to have a fun job! I have paid my dues to have the best gig ever in Singing Telegrams
I get to be creative and silly. No one is mad! It takes a certain kind of nut to do this job. I am that nut.😍🎵
