We play all types of Latin music including Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia and Rock in English and Spanish. We have been all over as we play various types of events. The name translates to "The Blind Boys From The Hood".

October 16, 2023Alvin and Derek were the perfect addition to my event. They were able to take requests ahead of time and performed those songs in addition to others on their setlist beautifully. Aside from being great entertainers, they were able to roll with the flow of our event as we had some last minute changes. They are as professional as they are talented and we heard nothing but raving reviews from our attendees afterwards. I would highly recommend them for any event!

January 5, 2019I was having a Christmas party for my family, and the attendance was about 30 adults and 7 kids. It would also be around the date of my mother’s 60th birthday.
I wanted to surprise her with a Latin band. I posted for quotes on both GigSalad and GigMasters. Between both, I had about 10 bands that I was reviewing their performances and speaking with the leads/managers.
All of the bands were competitive in price, no one was any more or less than another for the two hours of play I needed.
This band specifically blew my mind with a couple of their YouTube music videos. I booked immediately after watching them. The videos on GigSalad didn’t blow me away, as it was the ones from YouTube that I requested from them. **My advice for any of the bands you are hiring, is to see as many clips as possible, and with this band, ask for their YouTube videos...you will Not be disappointed.
The lead gentleman, Alvin, was nothing but that, a pure gentleman! Conversing with him via email and meeting him in person was such a delight!!! Can’t say anything bad about the men in the band!
They also did a great mix of Spanish and English songs. It satisfied the entire group. Even the catering staff asked them for their contact information, that’s how good they were!!
Hire this band, you won’t be disappointed!!
