About
Maria is an International Speaker and Author of Live an Inspired Life and Living Passionately: 21 people who found their purpose and how you can too. Maria began her professional life as a holistic math teacher at the community college level, teaching her students to love mathematics through hands-on, interactive learning. Maria’s life transformed when she and her daughter volunteered in Haiti after the devastating earthquake in Haiti. She has trained the teachers at the HEART School in Haiti and is Co-President and Secretary of the HEART Board. Maria loves to engage and inspire her audience throughout her presentation.

I have been influenced by my career as a Holistic Math Teacher, Caregiver for my brother Evan who has multiple disabilities, Volunteering in Haiti to start a school after the devastating earthquake of 2010, Raising my daughters to follow their passions, Teaching Yoga and Inspirational Classes, Writing "Living Passionately: 21 people who found their purpose and how you can too!" and being a keynote speaker at a caregiver's conference.
