We are a 6-piece (sometimes less), Soul-jazz band, based in Brooklyn, who plays original music. We have hours worth of original material as can be found below. Our music is well received by music fans of all kinds, everywhere we go. We've played at many venues in New York (4/5 boroughs), Philadelphia, Burlington, Denver, Boulder, Norfolk, and many small towns throughout the Northeast.
Our Arrangement (6): Drums, Electric Bass, 2 Electric Guitars, Flute, Four vocalists.
Our Sound: a soulful original blend of the influences of our band's individual players including blues, rock, folk, funk, R&B, jazz, hip-hop, etc.

The Travelers began making music in 2010 in Philadelphia. The Travelers moved to New York over the course of the next few years, adding players to fill out their sound and aggressively honing their craft. Currently the Travelers play every Friday night in New York's Upper East Side, unless they have a gig out of town and host a jam session, called the Healing, twice monthly in Brooklyn. The band has traveled as far west as Denver, CO, as far east as OBX, NC, as far north as Montgomery, VT, and as far south as Charleston, SC. They hope to spread their music across the globe.
