Overview
I'm a New York City jazz guitarist and bandleader who loves bringing live music to special moments. I play weddings, proposals, dinner parties, corporate events, and gallery openings, solo or with a duo, trio, or full band, with or without vocals.
The music covers jazz standards, jazz takes on pop and soul classics (Stevie Wonder, the Beatles, Sting, and more), bossa nova, samba, boleros, and originals, and I'm happy to learn a special song.
I'm based in NYC, play throughout the Tri-State area, and travel nationally and internationally. I'm insured, speak English and Spanish, and am always prompt and easy to work with.

April 20, 2025Magical - Just what we were after!
Hans was awesome from start to finish. Clear, and responsive communication through the quoting process. Very upbeat, positive energy - he's just a super nice guy. Most importantly, he delivered the goods! Tasteful but interesting interpretations of jazz standards and pop songs, just like we discussed. I got tons of compliments from our party guests on his playing. Would definitely book again.

Additional booking notes
Requirements vary gig to gig, but most often I only need an outlet to plug into, and perhaps some kind of covering if the gig is outdoors.
I do have a powerful battery powered PA that can accommodate a small band in case your event doesn’t have access to power.
