Overview

Stevie Silver has been pumping out rockin' blues in the Boston area blues music scene for over 20 years. Mentored by blues great Ronnie Earl he has had the good fortune to share the stage with Ronnie Earl, Duke Robillard, Taj Mahal, Johnny Winter, Roomful of Blues, James Cotton and Eric Gales. Stevie's CD-Juke Box Baby -Produced by Grammy Nominated Blues Artist Duke Robillard, was praised in the international Blues Music Magazine and had airplay on Sirius XM Radio-B.B. King's Bluesville. Stevie studied directly with Joe Bonamassa and Steve Lukather of Toto. Stevie's band Lil' Stevie and The Westsiders offers traditional and rockin' blues with emphasis on getting people up and dancing.

Price range: $400-$1500.

What to expect

Lil' Stevie and The Westsiders is a blues based band and cover traditional and rockin' blues, some jazz, jump blues, New Orleans style blues and R&B and some roots rock 'n roll with an emphasis on getting people up and dancing and having a good time. The band generally consists of 4-5 musicians (guitar/vocals, drums, bass, keyboards and occasional horn) depending on availability and your requirements.

SATURDAY BOOKINGS TYPICALLY NEED 4-6 WEEKS ADVANCE NOTICE. ALL OTHER BOOKINGS NEED 3-4 WEEKS ADVANCE NOTICE .

We typically provide three approximately 60-75 minute sets of music (as required) with two 20 minute breaks in between sets providing approximately 4 hours of service.

We will provide all equipment required including PA and microphones (if required) along with our backline (amps & drums). Our fees reflect using high quality musicians and equipment so that you can be sure of getting the best music for your event.

About

Stevie Silver has been active in the Boston area blues music scene for the past 20 years. After being mentored by blues great Ronnie Earl he played with some of Boston's best blues and blues/rock bands. Striking out on his own in 2007 Stevie started his current group Lil' Stevie and The Westsiders and released his first CD-Can't Get Enough paying tribute to some of his blues influences.

Stevie has had the good fortune to share the stage with some blues artists of renown such as: Ronnie Earl, Duke Robillard, Taj Mahal, Johnny Winter, Roomful of Blues, Sugar Ray and The Bluetones, James Cotton and Eric Gales. Stevie's 2nd CD-Juke Box Baby was released in 2011-Produced by Grammy Nominated Blues Artist Duke Robillard, Stevie released four new and original songs as well as eight covers of wonderful blues artists and has earned glowing praise in the international blues magazine- Blues Music Magazine and had airplay on Sirius XM Radio-B.B. King's Bluesville as well as local Boston area radio stations. He also has had the opportunity to take guitar instruction directly with Ronnie Earl, Duke Robillard, Joe Bonamassa and Steve Lukather of Toto. Stevie has been influenced by blues artists such as Ronnie Earl, Duke Robillard, Magic Sam, Otis Rush, Albert King, Freddie King, Hubert Sumlin, Jimmie Vaughan, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Bonamassa and Eric Clapton. Stevie has studied directly with Ronnie Earl, Duke Robillard, Joe Bonamassa and Steve Lukather of Toto.

Setup requirements

We provide all equipment- PA (if required) and backline. Indoor events need a stage space of approximately 8' x 15" and electrical outlets to power equipment. Outdoor events need a covered space (in case of rain) of the same size.
