Lights

"Lights" is a musical duo who help folks enjoy their event by providing live music for various occasions ranging from private parties to small and medium size venues.

Susie & Spence will perform an array of music for listening (and sometimes dancing) pleasure. Some songs are "unplugged" with vocals and an acoustic or an electric guitar. Most others are live music accompanied by musical compositions providing a "full band" experience without the presence of a full band. And sometimes we have other musicians sit in and play along.

We encourage folks to look up the lyrics and to sing along!

Spence started playing guitar in high school, went on to become the lead guitarist for the UCSD Jazz Band in college and has played professionally on and off for many years in hotel chains, bars, clubs and restaurants. He met singer Susie, they married and have been playing church venues on worship teams. Nowadays they play in their secular musical duo called "Lights" at public venues and parties. For example, we've been added to the entertainment rotation at the Flying Horse Country Club playing both outdoors (weather permitting) and indoors in the Tack Room. It's a nice place.

We love playing at all sorts of events but clubs and parties are our favorite! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing or singing along

We need a performance space of at least 8 feet x 6 feet. We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets, adequate lighting, weather cover if necessary and 1 parking space.

We provide all sound equipment but no performance lights.
