April 20, 2026Not bad for a Rodeo Clown
He’s an Americana artist who keeps things straightforward and easy to like. His original songs are clever and well-crafted, with thoughtful lines that show real effort and a good ear for storytelling, even if they’re more subtle than showy.
He also brings in some lesser-known covers, which adds a nice bit of variety and shows good taste, even if they’re more about feel than flash. His sound stays rooted in classic acoustic Americana—warm, familiar, and comfortable to listen to.
Overall, he’s a steady, genuine performer who clearly cares about the craft, and that comes through in both his writing and his song choices.

April 20, 2026Another night of heartfelt story telling and great music.
I have seen Lid perform numerous times at various venues in Northern Colorado including an intimate show at our house. Lid's storytelling is second to none and his lyrics are fun as well as heart warming. I always walk away from a show of Lid's with a smile on my face! In addition, I caught him hosting the Grand FoCo Opry this past January (2026) and he was the highlight of the afternoon.
