Born Leonor Susu Savimbi in Zaire, Angola. The Las Vegas raised singer-songwriter immigrated to the U.S. with her family when she was 4 years old and she has resided in Las Vegas ever since. Leonor executes genre bending R&B, embellished with dancehall/afrobeat elements and jazz and melodic rap influences. From elementary all the way up to high school, Leonor has always been drawn to the spotlight; as shown by her participation in every performing arts production and talent show stage welcoming of new talent. She was even known to put on performances for her friends and family during sleepovers on weekends. After high school, Leonor initially thought her outlet to performance would be acting, as she studied at The International Academy of Film and Television and pursued a career in the film and television industry. However, she soon realized it wasn't her calling.

Fast forward, Leonor heard (link hidden)le’s “4 Your Eyez Only” project and knew she had to find a way to touch people’s hearts the way (link hidden)le touched hers. Leonor began studying under Susan, who is a high contributing member of the Las Vegas music community. Susan, was the directing founder of Artist Development for Premier West Entertainment, featured columnist for Las Vegas Callback News, and director of The Academy of Diva Arts Las Vegas, which has been a rudimentary aspect in the development of Leonor’s career and continues to be.

Leonor has graced the stage of the BET Experience in Los Angeles, the Artisan Hotel and Boutique, the Vegas Next Up Showcase, the Beat Auxion at The Junxion Complex, Yellow the Photo Studio, Emerald at Queensridge as well as the Sacred Works Choir in Las Vegas. Leonor’s debut single “Islands” was recorded at Junxion Sound in Las Vegas and mixed/mastered by heavy hitter engineer SoundbyDAWsøn. The single exhibits soothing, yet movement inducing, dancehall influenced R&B beat, produced by Gabriel Domenic. Leonor plots her return, by bringing a dynamic, honest and transparent R&B sound to fans with the release of her long anticipated Debut EP The "Islands" Extended Play. Which is a follow up to her sensual and vibey, debut single "Islands." Ahead of the release of the EP, Leonor released another single titled “Energy.” The song is an authentic and vulnerable yet empowering anthem about letting people go and realizing your worth internally.

The Islands EP is composed of 6 tracks that showcase Leonor’s vocal style, ear for production, sensitive writing prowess as well as a look into her mind when she is completely unabashed. The EP also includes, skits, spoken word and Portuguese lyrics as Leonor displays her bilingual talents. The EP was recorded with Las Vegas engineers and producers Oscar Cardona and DAWsøn. Cardona produced 2 out of 6 tracks on the EP, which are “Energy” and “Nights like this.” Each song varies in tone, tempo, mood and subject while maintaining cohesiveness demonstrating Leonor’s versatility as an artist.
