A Michigan native now based in Colorado, Lena Maude is a heartfelt singer-songwriter and gigging musician whose original songs blend vivid storytelling, folk roots, and a touch of whimsy. She draws inspiration from nature, mythology, and the nuances of human experience.
Songwriting has been a lifelong passion, beginning with poetry in childhood. Wherever Lena goes, there’s a guitar and a scatter of lyric-strewn papers. As a working visual artist under Sungold Art, she channels the same creative spirit into watercolor illustrations and murals.
A deep nature enthusiast, Lena’s off-stage life includes herbalism, gardening, skiing, and whitewater canoeing. Community and connection matter greatly to her. With many interests and a love for people, she has worked as a nature connection mentor, summer camp counselor, downhill ski instructor, yoga instructor, and sea kayak guide.
