Overview
I am a singer, performer and teacher of a wide variety of vocal music.I sing for weddings, funerals, corporate and private functions.I sing a wide range of repertoire from classical opera to folk, popular and 20's and 30's ballads.I also sing in gated communities,for community groups and corporate clients.
I teach all ages the technique of great singing and am passionate about it!I have sung for over 20 years and would like to enhance your event or gala by singing songs all can enjoy.I also offer master of ceremonies,corporate or high school inspirational speaking and make videos catered to stories you want to tell.

About
Biography
Originally from London and Toronto, Ontario Leila has made Calgary her home for over 20 years. She has performed many pieces from spiritual, folk, popular, musical theatre, light opera and dramatic opera genres. She has won awards in Calgary’s Kiwanis music festival for light opera (2000) and has had numerous accolades for her performances in liturgical and non liturgical settings.
Her vocal expertise comes from extensive training through the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto) and Trinity College (London ,England) Examinations .She has studied in England for a summer music workshop (The Summer Music Summer School at Wellington college, Berkshire, U.K) She is a private singing instructor and has had students win in the musical theatre category at the Kiwanis Music Festival in Calgary.
Ms. Keith currently owns and operates Leila Keith Studios, performing for local arts and gala functions,singing for memorial services,weddings and also does music therapy of old songs for dementia patients in addition to teaching privately. She is a past member of the Calgary Society for Independent Film and has two videos and one short 35 mm film to her credit.
She loves all aspects of the arts yet performing and teaching are her passions.
