Great music for our garden party !!!

Left Bank / Rive Gauche provided great background music for our noon-time French themed outside party. The volume was just right as were the selections which added a special ambiance to our event. We had several couples who danced to some of the tunes. The trio is very personable and open to requests. At one point, they played "Happy Birthday" for one of our attendees - not once, but twice !! The trio's playing at our party was a "surprise" for our guests..... and they all raved about how great they were.

It was easy to book the event and communicate about venue, time, what we wanted, etc. The trio arrived on time, set up efficiently and quietly and packed up the same way. Neither of those interrupted the flow of the party. They played for 1 1/2 hours. The fee was reasonable and we received great value for the cost.

Everything about our interaction with the trio was very, very positive.

We definitely recommend Left Bank / Rive Gauche and will ask them to play again at one of our events.

About

Left Bank/Rive Gauche is a musical trio playing the music of the French cafs and Gypsy jazz of the early twentieth century. A combination of accordion, violin, guitar, bass and voice recreates the caf and street sounds of the period. Our singer adds French, Spanish and English lyrics to our music. The group brings European music and ambiance to private parties, corporate events, wedding receptions, museum events, garden parties, group luncheons, festivals and markets.

When we perform, we attend to the 'stage design' of our set, including French-casual costumes with hats, or formal wear, as appropriate, period furniture, and flowers in season. We perform with an acoustic sound quality, even when we use amplification for larger performance spaces or outdoors. We have appropriate amplification equipment for most spaces.
