LeAndra Grund is a freelance harpist based in Montville, Connecticut. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance and an Artist Diploma from the Schwob School of Music, and is currently pursuing a Master of Music Education at the University of Georgia. LeAndra has served as Acting Principal Harpist for the Albany Symphony and Principal Harpist of the Columbus Ballet. She has regularly performed as a substitute Principal Harpist with the Augusta Symphony and the Carroll Symphony. Her work as a soloist and ensemble player has taken her to venues such as Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Leonardo da Vinci International Music Festival in Florence, Italy. Classically trained and highly experienced, LeAndra offers performances for weddings, private events, and church services, and provides private harp instruction. In her free time, LeAndra enjoys spending time hiking, baking, and spending time with her husband and their dog and cat.
Additional booking notes
I will arrive 30-60 minutes before the event starts in order to set up and tune. Please be aware that harps are sensitive to temperature and humidity so it must be sheltered from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and rain. I transport my harp on a dolly so please make sure the area is handicap accessible or let me know in advance if this will be an issue.
