What to expect
What to Expect: A Strategic Roadmap to Lead in the Age of DisruptAIn
When you hire me, you are not booking a technical lecture on "how to use chatbots." You are booking a high-energy, strategic leadership experience designed to turn AI anxiety into organizational advantage.
I bridge the gap between the "Number 2 Pencil" reality (where many organizations feel stuck) and the "Transfigure" future (where innovation happens).
The Audience Experience:
Your attendees will experience a narrative that is equal parts diagnostic, strategic, and deeply human. I don't speak at the audience; I work with them to diagnose their current reality using the A.R.T. Self-Assessment.
No Jargon: I cut through the hype. We don't talk about algorithms; we talk about Assimilating, Redesigning, and Transfiguring.
Interactive Diagnostics: Attendees will take a live self-assessment to identify exactly where they fall on the maturity continuum—from the "Number 2 Pencil" stage to the cutting edge of innovation.
Focus on Humanity: The core message is that AI is not here to replace leaders, but to amplify them. We focus on reclaiming time for Pause, Presence, and Intentionality.
The Deliverables: Strategy & Tools
Your audience walks away with more than inspiration; they leave with tangible, executive-level tools they can implement the next morning:
The A.R.T. Roadmap: A clear framework to move from basic efficiency (Assimilate) to optimization (Redesign) and finally to market disruption (Transfigure).
The AI Playbook: A comprehensive set of actionable policies and execution rules designed to mitigate cognitive risk and guide safe, effective AI adoption across the organization.
Risk Management: Strategies to avoid the "Blockbuster Mistake" (doing nothing) and the "Nokia Failure" (lack of psychological safety).
Cultural Tools: Practical steps to build a "Kindergarten Culture"—a safe-to-fail environment essential for high-stakes innovation.
The Outcome
Event planners can expect an audience that transforms from overwhelmed to empowered. Executives and managers will leave with a shared language (A.R.T.) and a unified strategy to stop chasing "shiny objects" and start solving real business problems.
About
Dr. Michael Martin is a nationally recognized school leader, education disruptor, and one of the country’s most respected voices on the intersection of artificial intelligence and public education. Named the 2024 Ohio High School Principal of the Year, Dr. Martin has built his career around one core mission: to give every student—regardless of zip code—access to world-class learning and opportunity.
Currently serving as principal of Buckeye Central High School in rural Ohio, Dr. Martin has transformed a small-town school into a regional model of innovation and academic excellence. Under his leadership, Buckeye Central launched Bucks Block—a daily advisory program rooted in relationships and academic support—as well as Crew for a Cause, a house-based leadership system that gives students belonging and purpose. He also spearheaded a complete redesign of the district’s curriculum handbook, added career-tech pathways, led multiple new building projects, and created the first county-wide leadership academy.
A trusted expert in school transformation, Dr. Martin has presented at national conferences, served as a panelist for Education Week, and been featured in The Hill and other leading publications. He is the author of Blending Instruction with Technology and Teacher Efficacy and School Choice, and serves as a field advisor to multiple universities preparing future school leaders. In recent years, he has emerged as a national thought leader on the ethical, practical, and powerful use of AI in education—advising principals, superintendents, and policymakers on how to integrate AI without losing the heart of human leadership.
What sets Dr. Martin apart isn’t just his vision—it’s his voice. A principal who still walks the hallways, calls parents personally, and writes his own speeches (sometimes with a little help from AI), he leads by example and stays grounded in what matters most: kids, community, and connection.
He is a proud husband to Nancy, father to four daughters, and high-energy supporter of every student who walks through his school’s doors. Whether coaching his staff through a tech integration or cheering at Friday night football, Dr. Martin leads with humility, humor, and relentless hope.
