Laura Vahlberg 5 Minute Portraits

Laura Vahlberg will arrive 30 minutes to an hour before the event to set up. She will have a french easel, wagon, sign with clothespins on it, and 2 chairs (where people can sit for their portraits). Her set up can easily fit under a 10x10 tent- though a tent is not always necessary depending on the event. Guests can sit for their portraits or provide a photo from their phone for a quick portrait. Vahlberg can paint a portrait in 5 minutes (per person/animal). On average she can make 10-11 portraits in an hour. Once the painting is complete, it will need about 10 minutes to dry. The painting can dry on the sign hanging from a clothespin. Once the painting is dry, Vahlberg provides a cellophane envelope for the painting for safe travels home. Vahlberg's portrait booth provides both entertainment, an activity, a window into the artistic process, and a unique party favor.
