Laura Evans Piano

The other evening, I went out to a local restaurant to catch Laura Evans playing and singing, as I do whenever I get the chance. She is a wonderful entertainer, whether she is solo or with a duo, trio or quartet. Laura’s interaction with her fellow musicians and the audience, choice of material, obvious joy of playing – these components of her performances pull everything all together in a lively, talented and tasteful way. At this most recent gig, she had Eric Marshall with her on bass, and you could tell they were having a blast. So were we, in the audience. Whenever I go out to catch Laura, I am always glad I did!
