About
Laura is a singer, songwriter, and producer in Chicago. This soulful singer fuses many genres together creating an eclectic style to her sound. She has been writing songs since the age of eleven and started recording herself at the age of thirteen. Since then, she has immensely developed her production skills and collaborates with musicians and artists from all over the world. Her debut EP “Lost” is available on all streaming platforms.
She gigs full time, in acoustic solo/duo acts under her name Laura Burke as well as the lead singer in Mike Zabrin’s 'Funktastic'. Her sound embodies the genres of funk, soul, RnB, pop and jazz. She covers artists including Adele, Amy Winhouse, Alicia Keys, Etta James, John Legend, Micheal Jackson, India Arie, Joss Stone, Sam Smith, Bill Withers, Rhianna, Norah Jones.
