Hi! My name is Ricardo Rios, founder of West Coast Strings and first violinist of the Latin String Quartet.
Welcome to our page! We provide beautiful live music for weddings, private events, corporate gatherings, and other special occasions. While we specialize as a string quartet, we are also available as a trio, duo, or solo violinist.

These musicians are incredible. They are super friendly and talented. They played Mariachi style & Italian songs per our request. They were enthusiastic & passionate about playing & my guests enjoyed their live performance so much during our dinner. My daughter’s XV was so much more enjoyable because of them! I highly recommend them.

We hired the Latin String Quartet for a private event on Thursday the 2nd, and they were fantastic. They were very accommodating throughout the process and brought a professional, positive attitude from start to finish. The West Coast Strings Quartet were hired for a wedding since the idea was to have something different than the typical soloist. The wedding entrance was beautiful, outstanding and remarkable!
If you are looking for something that will stand out at any of your events (birthday celebration, Quinceañera or wedding) West Coast Strings Quartet is your go to. Rest assured you can ask them to play anything that and they will make sure to turn that moment to an unforgettable memory!

Additional booking notes
West Coast Strings is fully acoustic and requires very little setup. We simply ask for:
Four armless chairs (or the appropriate number for the ensemble booked)
Adequate lighting for evening performances
A flat, clean performance area approximately 10' x 10'
Protection from direct sun, rain, or extreme weather for outdoor events (such as a tent or covered area)
For larger events or venues where additional volume is needed, amplification can be arranged upon request. We are happy to coordinate with your venue or event planner to ensure a smooth setup.

Our style is inspired by ensembles such as Vitamin String Quartet, Dallas String Quartet, and Brooklyn Duo, combining classical artistry with modern, pop, and Latin music. We strive to deliver elegant, engaging performances that enhance every event while maintaining the highest level of musicianship.
